UK: On-demand dry cleaning and laundry platform Laundryheap has launched a new partnership with London operator The Residence Apartments.

The laundry service will be made available across The Residence’s portfolio of more than 60 apartments in Marylebone, Tower Hill, Shoreditch and Hoxton.

Guests can access Laundryheap’s laundry service on-demand, with dry cleaning starting from £2 an item and a six kilo laundry wash starting at £14.95. Laundryheap will operate a door-to-door service, including contactless pick-ups and drop-offs, with a guaranteed 24-hour turnaround time for any laundry that guests leave in their care. Services on offer for The Residence Apartments guests include a standard laundry service, and dry cleaning and ironed laundry.

With most guests staying with The Residence for an average of 56 nights per booking – often while on business or looking for a more permanent place to live – the new service will enable guests “to spend less time on laundry and more time doing the things that really matter to them”.

Deyan Dimitrov, CEO and co-founder of Laundryheap, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with The Residence to offer their guests a quick, affordable, safe and eco-friendly laundry option. We aim to take one important thing off of peoples’ minds – their laundry – and are looking forward to helping ensure Residence guests have a comfortable and stress-free stay. Our 24-hour guaranteed turnaround time means that long-stay guests can get their laundry and dry-cleaning needs met, with minimal hassle and maximum convenience. It has been a really difficult year for the hospitality industry, but by improving and diversifying their service offering through partnerships like this one, I’m confident that hotels, apartment rentals and other accommodations will soon draw customers back. We’re delighted to be able to play a part on this journey – and are particularly looking forward to servicing the laundry needs of The Residence’s guests over the coming weeks and months.”
