Spain: PMS and channel manager Zeevou has appointed Emilio Alonso as chief partneriser.

Barcelona-based Alonso joins from BookingPal where he was project manager for Europe.

Na'ím Anís Paymán, Zeevou's chief revolutionary, said: "Emilio is exactly the right person that we needed on our team to spearhead our growth over the next few years. We are extremely thankful that he approached us, and I can't wait to see the fruits of his contributions. I call on anyone else who has a burning desire to make a true impact on the industry to come and join the Zeevou Family!"

Alonso added: "From an operational perspective, having the advantage to understand about PMS/channel management technology and what’s the initial need of each property management company gives you a clear visibility of where they are struggling, and in this sector, as in multiple other sectors, the best technology will be determinant to achieve their goals. I truly believe Zeevou is more than a reliable software where you can have everything that you need in a software, and also has the great advantage of being able to acquire direct bookings instead of relying on OTAs, which can reduce profitability tremendously. I’m more than excited to make the business grow with initiatives and strategic partnerships, and to make a ton of big impacts in the industry, showing what we are capable of and why we have the best product in the market!"

Alonso is the third Zeevou hire in recent weeks, following the appointments of David Jenner as digital strategy manager and Andrew Reynolds as partner engagement manager.
