US: Q&A, Furnished Quarters’ aparthotel brand, has launched a five per cent cash back incentive for guests who book direct at the Manhattan property.

This new incentive adds to Q&A’s Friends with Benefits loyalty program, which includes a free room upgrade, late check-out, a complimentary welcome amenity and access to exclusive offers from local restaurants and attractions.

“Independent hotels need to do more to gain loyalty from guests and compete with big brands,” said Steve Brown, CEO of Q&A Hotel and Furnished Quarters. “In addition to offering huge, stylish suites and full-sized kitchens, we can now provide even more reasons for business travellers to stay with us when choosing accommodations.”

Powering the five per cent cash back initiative is The Guestbook, the world’s largest rewards program for independent and boutique hotel brands. The Guestbook has quickly grown to become a popular loyalty tool for more than 600 hotels looking to sway travellers to choose them and keep coming back. Guests can earn five per cent cash back on their reservation total through PayPal, a gift card or a charitable donation. Members may also double their reward to 10 per cent if they choose to redeem towards future stays at Guestbook hotels in other destinations.

“The Guestbook’s rewards platform was designed to celebrate the independent spirit in hospitality by augmenting the unique loyalty initiatives of our lodging partners,” said James Gancos, CEO and founder of The Guestbook. “We are excited to add The Guestbook’s instant cash back rewards as an additional layer of value to Q&A’s innovative Friends with Benefits program.”

During an initial test phase, conversions increased by 25 per cent whenever the reward program was visible to prospective guests. Due to the results, Q&A Hotel has rolled the program out to all guests who book direct.</p
