Oakwood launches its vision for serviced apartments with the Oakwood Showroom

Singapore: Oakwood, which is wholly owned by Mapletree Investments, has unveiled The Oakwood Showroom at Harbour front Tower One.

The Oakwood Showroom is the result of a collaboration with key partners including ASSA ABLOY, Bang & Olufsen, Electrolux, Equal Strategy, Honeywell, LaBottega, LIXIL (GROHE, INAX), Luzerne, Nespresso, Samsung and Serta.

It is also a milestone representation of Oakwood's vision of the next generation of serviced apartments.  Designed by Warren Foster Brown of FBEYE International, The Showroom presents itself as a material visualisation of how discrete modern living can be intertwined with functional comfort. In addition, it features elegant and innovative designs in the living room, bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom spaces as it aims to set a trend for some of the industry's leading-edge equipment for serviced apartments.

Dean Schreiber, Oakwood managing director for Asia Pacific, said: "We seek to create a living space that a discerning traveller looks for, whether for work or leisure with the family. It will be a place that has everything the traveller needs to be comfortable and well taken care of, as well as to empower him or her to experience all that a destination has to offer."

Through this unveiling, Oakwood is laying out its strategic ambition to grow its existing portfolio.   The Showroom will also be a test bed for new building materials and technology, in order to continue its reputation for quality product enhancement as the brand increases its footprint.
