US: Extended stay hotel brand My Place has opened a 63-key property in North Las began, marking its debut in Nevada.

The property is My Place’s 39th open location and its 20th state debut. Following the brand’s Greenville, South Carolina opening on April 9, Las Vegas marks My Place’s second opening and state debut within the same week.

Located at 1440 East Craig Road near the I-15 exit, My Place is only a few minutes from Freemont Street,  Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and a 10 minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip.

The four storey My Place Hotel-North Las Vegas, NV is independently owned by NLV Partners, LLC and operated by Legacy Management, LLC. As the second My Place Hotel developed by owner Randal Bender, the new hotel is positioned to serve “a diverse mix of short and long-term guests from military personnel and their families to the road warriors on working assignments within and surrounding the city”.

“I recognised a need for a room type that would allow people staying for a few days to six months or longer for work an affordable option that allows  them the freedom to live their daily lives as if they were at home,” said Bender. “With kitchens in every room, My Place guests can keep their favourite items at arms length, whether it’s delicious leftovers, take out or ingredients for their favourite home cooked meal. We look forward to providing a refreshing experience that includes the comforts of home at an affordable rate for every guest.”

Terry Kline, My Place EVP of franchise development, said: “As My Place Hotels continues its prolific expansion across the country, we congratulate Randal Bender and his team at NLV Partners on opening America’s 39th My Place Hotel, and making it My Place’s 20th state debut,” Kline said. “The North Las Vegas market has emerged as a tremendous centre of activity with a multitude of demand, and we are thrilled to work with a great team to introduce America’s newest and best lodging option to the area as well as the greater state of Nevada.”
