US: My Place Hotels of America has announced the groundbreaking of Utah’s fourth My Place Hotel.

On the final day of My Place's cross-country Celebration Tour, My Place CEO Ryan Rivett, EVP of franchise development Terry Kline and team celebrated the new hotel's beginnings alongside its owners, community members and local leaders of Hurricane, Utah. Attendees convened for the ceremony at 1167 West 80th Street where construction has commenced on the three-storey, 46-unit hotel. As the newest addition to the Hurricane Valley, My Place Hotel-Hurricane, UT is expected to open in Q1 2019.

The new hotel is locally owned and developed by Vincent and Danyale Blackmore of 3 Dimensional Contractors Inc.

Vincent Blackmore said: "We believe both the My Place brand and the hotel prototype we selected to be a perfect fit for the property and community surrounding it. It will address a need for brand new, high-quality lodging in the Hurricane Valley and satisfy the demand generated by a booming tourism industry. We are excited to be part of such a progressive franchise and to introduce the brand and its values to our community and its guests."
