Management restructure for Clarendon

UK: London serviced apartment operator Clarendon has promoted Joanna Cross to managing director, while Scott Hamilton moves to the position of executive chairman.

With 12 years industry background and proven expertise in developing teams and building revenue, Cross will be responsible for directing the day to day operations, sales strategy, revenue and property management side of the business.

She said: “I’m honoured to have been given the opportunity to lead such a strong team. Clarendon is firmly established as one of the leading London serviced apartment operators and has an incredibly strong reputation for the quality of product and consistent service delivery. I look forward to the challenge, building on our successes and continuing to develop the team to meet the company’s future growth goals.”

Hamilton will be primarily focused on the strategic direction of the business and future growth opportunities through investment, development and acquisition. He said: “As the business goes through fundamental change, Joanna was a natural choice to lead the team and day to day operations of the business. Since joining Clarendon Joanna’s energy, desire and passion to drive the business forward have been hugely effective in building a more efficient and effective operation and Clarendon team. Joanna will play a key role in driving future performance and revenue at Clarendon as the business enters an ambitious new phase of growth over the coming three years.”
