Home2 Suites to add more than 10,000 keys

US: Hilton’s extended-stay brand Home2 Suites has a pipeline of 70 properties across North America and APAC.

Over the next few years, the brand will add 10,576 rooms to its portfolio, according to the latest TOPHOTELPROJECTS construction database.

In the remainder of 2021, 13 hotels with 1,443 keys will open – nine of these schemes are already in the pre-opening phase.

In 2022, 27 properties with 3,990 keys will follow. 2023 will see 11 projects with 2,012 keys due for completion, and for 2024 and beyond, another 19 developments and 3,131 rooms are in the pipeline.

With 43 new hotels (42 in the US and one in Canada) and 5,246 rooms on the way, North America is the brand’s biggest growth market.

All 27 of Home2 Suites’ projects in APAC will launch in China, growing its offering there by 5,330 rooms.
