UK: Orchard Apartments Limited, the owner and operator of Flying Butler Apartments, has acquired the business and assets of Executive Serviced Apartments (ESA).

The acquisition follows ESA’s recent administration under a prepack scheme.

Orchard now offers around 400 serviced apartments under the Flying Butler and ESA brands across Greater London and the south of England, making it one of the largest serviced apartment providers in the UK.

With Flying Butler celebrating its 20th anniversary this year as a UK serviced apartment industry provider, Orchard says it is well placed to continue with its ambitious growth and development plans.

Orchard chief executive Peter Strafford said: “We are pleased to have completed our second major acquisition in the UK serviced apartment industry.  With our great team, breadth of stock and focus on the customer experience, we look forward to delivering the high levels of quality, service and comfort which clients and guests expect of Flying Butler and ESA.”

Orchard Apartments Limited was incorporated in 2014 when it acquired Flying Butler Apartments Limited. Newbury-based ESA was founded by Charlie Turner in 2004.</p
