Finnish developer to build St Petersburg aparthotel

Russia: Lemminkainen, a Finnish construction company is to build an aparthotel in the south of St Petersburg.

A contract for the construction, marketing and sale of the property's first phase has been signed between the Finnish company and and property owner GALS LLC.

The aparthotel will be located at the intersection of Bukharestskaya and Salova streets. The first phase involves erecting a 18-storey building with 750 apartments, with a total area of about 20,800 square meters.

There will also be office premises, restaurants and a fitness centre on the first floor.

Construction is scheduled to start in April 2017 and completed in May 2018.
