US: My Place Hotels has started construction at an extended stay hotel in Kalispell, which will be the brands fourth in the state of Montana.

A group of Montana investors have combined forces to build the new four-storey, 85-unit My Place Hotel in Kalispell. AMI Development, a firm local to Kalispell, is at the helm of construction. The property will be managed by Management Consultants, Inc., which also operates a portfolio of properties spanning multiple brands throughout Montana.

Managing member Mike Johnson said the Kalispell location will meet the many diverse and growing demands of the market. In addition to serving as the gateway to the surrounding Glacier National Park and Flathead National Forest, Kalispell is home to a rapidly growing business environment and is a regional centre for family activities and youth sports. Johnson said: “We are so excited to expand our presence in the dynamic market of Kalispell, Montana,” Johnson said. “The Flathead Valley needs a reasonably priced, extended stay option and this hotel will fill that niche nicely.”

The My Place Hotel in Kalispell, at 755 Treeline Road, is expected to open April 2019.

All My Place Hotels offer modern amenities at an affordable price including nightly, weekly and monthly rate options. Each extended stay guest room features a My Kitchen, complete with a two-burner cooktop, a microwave and a full refrigerator. The property is pet friendly, includes on-site laundry facilities, complimentary high speed internet service and a 24-hour My Store, located in the hotel lobby and stocked with an array of supplies for the guests’ convenience. Additionally, guests are invited to enjoy the new Breakfast in Bed option for a minimal cost.
