KSA: Marriott International has opened Marriott Executive Apartments Madinah, marking the brand’s debut in the city.

The rebranded property is the third Marriott Executive Apartments in Saudi Arabia and appeals to the rapidly growing demand for an extended stay both with business as well as leisure travellers.

“Our growth and focus on Saudi Arabia is aligned with the Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020 to support the country’s growing tourism and hospitality sectors. Religious tourism plays a key role as the government plans to attract 30 million pilgrims by 2030. Marriott Executive Apartments Madinah will address the growing demand for sophisticated style and tailored services within the extended stay environment for family, business, and pilgrimage travellers,” said Alex Kyriakidis, president and managing director, Marriott International, Middle East & Africa.

Located on King Abdullah Road in the city’s corporate, financial and governmental district, the 66-apartment property is 10 minutes away from the Prophet Mohammad Holy Masjid and adjacent to Al Rashid Mega Mall.

Guests have a choice of studios or one and two-bedroom elegantly furnished serviced apartments, each with fully-equipped kitchen, separate dining and seating area, free wi-fi and TV, as well as personal grocery shopping and daily housekeeping. Apartment amenities include around-the-clock staffing and a full range of concierge services. The hotel also features multi-functional spaces to work, a spa, kids play area, indoor swimming pool, and fully equipped gym.

The property features two event rooms for board meetings, business events and social gatherings, with state-of-the-art technology and personalised catering tailored to any occasion.

Saudi Arabia is Marriott International’s second largest market in the Middle East. Marriott Executive Apartments Madinah joins the company’s current portfolio of 27 operating hotels across nine cities. The company expects to nearly double its presence in Saudi Arabia in the next five years. </p
