UK: A 30-bedroom aparthotel, which is set to open in Scunthorpe next month, has released images of its units.

The former Scunthorpe Conservative Club has undergone a £400,000 refurbishment which will see the historic Doncaster Road building reopen as a hotel. Located opposite The Baths Hall, the property will be called 42 Apart Hotel and is due to open in a little over a month.

The developer has confirmed the project is on schedule to open in mid-April and is nearly complete.

Local media outlet Grimsby Live carried the first pictures of the finished rooms, which have a grey and yellow colour scheme and come in a variety of sizes, including suites. The finalised building will have a café which will be open to the public and meeting facilities.

Awaias Riaz, the managing director of the property, said: "We are launching a 30 bedroom apartment-hotel with mixed bedrooms and studio suites on Doncaster Road in Scunthorpe, opposite The Baths Hall. The hotel will be called 42 Apart Hotel. Development is nearly complete and we will have a functioning café open to the public inside, alongside meetings facilities. We should be creating around seven or eight jobs which include front of house, receptionist, hotel manager, café staff, housekeepers, kitchen staff and maintenance people.
