Casual Living gets American Bicyclists certification

US: The League of American Bicyclists has awarded Casual Living Extended Stay Hotels its Silver-level Bicycle Friendly Business certification.

Casual Living, based in Algonquin, Illionois, is one of 64 businesses across the US to either receive or renew its certification.

The League is a national cycling and advocacy organisation with nearly 20,000 members. Casual Living Extended Stay Hotels joins a list of 1,250 local businesses, government agencies and Fortune 500 companies “leading the way to transform transportation, health and wellness for the betterment of U.S. workers and local communities”. ​

BFB requirements identify incentives, programming and amenities proven to enable and inspire more people to ride bikes.

Among those offered by Casual Living Extended Stay Hotels are “to create a culture of wellness, showcase social responsibility, demonstrate a commitment to sustainability and reducing environmental footprint, and support long-term health benefits, both physical and mental”. In addition, Casual Living Extended Stay Hotels offers secure bicycle parking for both employees and guests.
