UK: Supercity Aparthotels is set to open the refurbished former Light Aparthotel in Manchester, its first property outside of London.

The 68-suite property is on Church Street in the city's Northern Quarter, around a 10-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly. Supercity bought the property in December 2017, shortly before a fire affected several floors of the building.

It has now been fully refurbished, with designs by Fusion Interiors Group. Each suite has a living room, kitchen, one or two bedrooms and a bathroom with complimentary Gilchrist and Soames toiletries.

All units come with Sky TV, a bluetooth radio and a Handy smartphone for national and international calls plus unlimited data.

The suites are decorated in bright colours with exposed concrete textures and bespoke artwork. Hallways feature Manchester worker bees by Stencil Artist DS, whilst living rooms have a diptych series by creative producer Ari Sturm.

The building includes an onsite gym, roof terrace, free Wifi and access to digital newspapers and magazines via Newsstand.

An all-day dining and drinking space is set to open in 2019.
