Austria: Vision Apartments has announced real estate projects in Basel, Lausanne, Berlin and Vienna.

The company has just purchased a seven-storey residential building at Nauenstrasse 55 in Basel. The building has a central location, in the immediate vicinity of Basel SBB railway station. 113 furnished apartments as well as fitness and wellness facilities are to be completed there by 2018.

The company says further potential expansion locations are under constant review and its goal is to double its portfolio from the current 1000 to 2000 apartments by 2018.

In Lausanne, a new residential building in the “Les Jardins de la Venoge” project, in the district of St. Sulpice near the banks of Lake Geneva, is under construction. Approximately 100 apartments, a fitness centre and 18 parking spaces are planned for the six-storey new building, to be completed by the end of 2017.

A second Berlin location is now being built in the vicinity of Potsdamer Platz, on Gabriele-Tergit-Promenade. The new building is already nearing completion, and includes approximately 55 apartments on the lower storeys of the “High Park Potsdamer Platz” project. The building is scheduled to be opened in autumn 2017.

And in Vienna, the company has just bought the former Hotel Tabor in Taborstrasse 25. Whether the building is to be completely modified or renovated has yet to be decided. Approximately 90 units are planned in this attractive city location. The earliest opening date for this project is set for the end of 2017.

“After opening our two flagship houses in Zurich Giesshübel and Berlin Alexanderplatz in 2013, it took us some time to prepare the next major step logistically and in terms of human resources”, said Anja Graf, CEO and chairwoman of Vision Apartments. “So we are all the more delighted to announce multiple new properties today. We are proud of our growth and look forward to completing the promising real estate projects, consolidating and enhancing our presence in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.”

“We will continue to seek out interesting, well-located properties in popular business destinations”, adds Anja Graf. “Even in Zurich, where we already have over 600 furnished apartments, we remain open to additional real estate projects. Various other projects in Switzerland and abroad are at an advanced stage of negotiations, and we will inform about them in due course.”
