UK: Christmas came early for a group of serviced apartment investors and operators at the latest Serviced Apartment News investor lunch.

Hosted by JLL at its Soho head office, the event was attended by a mix of domestic and international investors, operators and developers, all of whom were treated to a tasty Christmas lunch, courtesy of JLL.

The event was attended by representatives from Investag, KKR, Invel Real Estate Partners, Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, HORECA Investment Partners, Ankor Property Group, AHV Associates, Westmont, BridgeStreet Global Hospitality, Supercity, Aparthotels Adagio, Invesco, Lamington, Adina and Ashley Hotels.

After a festive glass of prosecco to kick off proceedings, JLL's Graham Craggs ran through the latest JLL Hotel Investor Sentiment Survey, before Max Thorne, managing director of JLL's hospitality team, gave an overview of the serviced apartment sector.

Among the topics discussed at the lively and informative session were planning, industry consolidation, leases, branding and industry definitions.

The event was the latest in a series of regular investor breakfasts and lunches hosted by Serviced Apartment News, designed to bring investors and operators together in an informal environment, with the ultimate goal of increasing investor awareness and understanding of the serviced apartment sector.
