UK: Capital & Centric has secured planning permission for its refurbishment of The Place aparthotel on Manchester’s Ducie Street

The Manchester developer has put together a £500 million development pipeline around Piccadilly station. Its plans for the Ducie street building, currently The Place aparthotel, will boost room numbers to 166 and include new ground floor offices and restaurants.

London based operator Go Native has been appointed to manage the property. According to the Manchester Evening News, Go Native is also set to be named as the operator of Capital & Centric and Henry Boot Developments’ £200 million Kampus scheme, which received planning permission last week.
