UK: Maxxton, a supplier in ERP solutions for the accommodation rental sector, has announced a partnership with London serviced apartment operator Marlin Apartments.

Marlin Apartments has selected Maxxton’s Hospitality ERP solution and will use Maxxton’s main back office for central reservations and property management which will include housekeeping and maintenance, but also an integrated CRM, extensive reporting and business analytics.

Marlin will also take advantage of Maxxton’s integrated web services with a new online guest portal, and connect to a network of distribution channels and OTAs, all manageable in the system.

Susan Cully, managing director of Marlin Apartments, said: “We have been searching for the ERP solution that could outgrow our current system and support our in-house style at the same time. It needs to be flexible, scalable and future-proof. Following a thorough evaluation of several systems, we feel that Maxxton delivers all the functionalities and customisation Marlin requires. They have shown us a refreshing approach to technology with their ERP SaaS model, which gives us the confidence that they are the right company to partner with.”

Severine Obertelli, head of sales and marketing, EMEA at Maxxton, said: “We are extremely proud to announce Marlin as our first partner in the serviced apartment sector. We have been working very hard to gain the confidence of serviced apartment operators and it is great to have an industry leader like Marlin recognising the potential of our technology approach beyond the vacation rental and holiday park sector where we are leaders. The serviced apartment sector has been underserved for many years, adapting itself to the limitations of hotel systems. With Maxxton, accommodation rental operators will get a performing tailored technology to look after all aspects of their business.”
