UK: Go Native has announced the appointment of Archie Hunter to the role of portfolio development director.

He joins from  Savills where he worked in the hotel and serviced apartment team.

Hunter says he has seen a significant increase in interest from developers and investors in the fast-growing serviced apartment sector and is excited to be moving from an agency role to that of operator: "Go Native has deservedly earned an outstanding reputation as dynamic market leaders and I'm looking forward to leading future portfolio growth."

His appointment comes as Go Native looks to extend its current footprint of 1,000 units across London.

Guy Nixon, CEO at Go Native, said: "We're absolutely delighted to be welcoming Archie to Go Native as portfolio development director. In his role at Savills over the last few years, Archie has been instrumental in driving a significant number of high profile serviced apartment transactions. This unrivalled experience will equip him well to work closely with our institutional and developer partners to grow our portfolio to 3,000 serviced apartments within the next five years, firmly establishing Go Native as the leading brand in the UK."
