UK: YourWelcome, a supplier of in-room tablets for apartment providers, has raised £1 million in its latest funding round.

The round was led by Flux group, alongside strategic angel investors including Simon Emeny, CEO of Fullers, and Sir James Devitt of Herald Hotels.

The investment will enable the company to grow distribution across key markets in the US, Europe and Asia.

YourWelcome has also signed a partnership agreement with vacation rental platform HomeAway.

Since its launch in May 2016, YourWelcome has installed its tablets in more than 2,000 properties, in over 23 countries.

YourWelcome enables owners and operators to sell a range of services during a guest’s stay, including late check-outs, mid-stay cleaning and luggage storage. By partnering with local on-demand services, YourWelcome turns owner recommendations into guest experiences, giving guests easy access to food delivery, attraction tickets and taxis.

The tablet gives guests hassle-free access to important information and provides time-poor property owners with an all-in-one visual solution that streamlines guest communication and increases revenue.

Henry Bennett, founder of YourWelcome said: “We knew when launching YourWelcome, that a product that could bring a new revenue stream to the short stay accommodation eco-system would be in high demand. This funding round will enable us to keep up with the huge demand we have experienced and continue our rapid international expansion. ”

Faraz Nagree, lead investor at Flux Group added: “It has been an incredible journey so far and we at Flux see great potential in both the YourWelcome team and the Corporate let/Short stay market.”

Peter Morgan, commercial director at Clarendon Serviced Apartments, said: “YourWelcome tablets offer Clarendon Serviced Apartment guests easy access to a range of services and information that enhances their experience during their stay. In March alone, our guests used the devices for over 270 hours.”</p
