UK: Nearly 300 international delegates attended the Serviced Apartment Summit in London earlier this week.

Held at the Montcalm Hotel near Marble Arch, the Summit was launched last year in response to industry demand, and has almost doubled in size for 2014, attracting delegates and speakers from as far afield as Australia, Singapore, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, the US, India and across Europe.

Following a tour of local luxury extended stay properties, a cocktail reception was held at Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living on Tuesday July 8 followed by a full day’s conference on Wednesday July 9. Click here to read a review of the day.

One of the highlights of the Summit was the strong attendance from hotel investors and the launching of a set of industry definitions, signed by many of the sector’s leading players, and driven by HVS and Serviced Apartment News.
