Japan: Tokyo serviced apartment provider Mori Living has refurbished its Roppongi Hills apartments.
For the first time since they opened 13 years ago, Mori Living has begun renovating some of the serviced apartment units at Roppongi Hills.
Renovations include two types of unit originally designed by Conran & Partners and are based on feedback from residents. Kitchens have been expanded to give more space to prepare food, and a shelf for towels has been added to some bathrooms. Many of the updates are cosmetic, and include new furniture and new art on the walls.
While renovations have currently been completed on only two units, a total of 30 will be updated by 2020 in time for Tokyo Olympics.
