Spain: Nestor has partnered with service apartment provider Urban Vida Stays as part of its expansion plan across Spain.

Nestor is currently managing four serviced apartment buildings in Grenada and Madrid, with plans to introduce further multi-family buildings in major cities across the country.

Urban Vida, founded by Mitra Ghamsari, has a network of interior designers and local suppliers, as well as strong connections to REITs and property funds in Spain and Europe.

Nestor will lead the partnership from a building management perspective, and Urban Vida, alongside its main client, Persepolis, will be focus on growth, sourcing and leasing buildings.

Co-founder and director of Nestor, Fran Milsom, said: “Urban Vida’s buildings fit perfectly with Nestor’s concept, so it’s an ideal partnership. Each apartment is centrally located and beautifully decorated to compliment the original features of the buildings.”

“The focus on technology and the creation of amazing experiences offers guests flexible and unique stays, which is what we at Nestor are all about.”

Nestor was Urban Vida’s launch partner for two serviced apartment buildings in Granada in September 2019, and has recently taken over management of two similar buildings in Madrid.

Mitra Ghamsari, founder and director of Urban Vida, adds: “Having tested the partnership with Nestor over the past six months, it feels like we’ve found the right company to collaborate with for the ambitious future expansion plans.”

Together, Milsom and Ghamsari has set a target of 500 apartments in Spain by 2022.

Nestor was established in 2015 by Fran Milsom and Mark Hudson. The company works with a portfolio of landlords in the serviced apartment and student accommodation sector to provide a professional property management service.

Mitra Ghamsari has more than 15 years of experience in the financial industry and in real estate. She founded Persepolis (a REIT) in 2014. Persepolis I has invested its capital in 11 assets in Madrid and Andalucía and is currently in a period of disinvestment.

Ghamsari is in the fundraising stage of Persepolis II CV. The new fund has a target volume of 100 million euros to continue investing in residential and alternative accommodation in Madrid and other main cities of Spain.</p
