US: My Place Hotels of America has opened a 64-key extended stay property in Yakima, WA.

The property is My Place‘s third in Washington State and is located at 21 South 18th Street. The three-storey hotel marks America’s 44th My Place location across 21 states.

My Place Hotel-Yakima, WA is independently owned and operated by Thind PMR Enterprises IV, Inc. The location becomes the brand’s first to be opened by a member of AAHOA (Asian American Hotel Owners Association), the largest hotel owners association in the world.

Thind PMR Enterprises president, Minnie Thind, said: “We are extremely excited to be able to open the doors to the very first My Place Hotel in Yakima. From the very beginning, the concept of My Place resonated with us and aligned with what we recognised the community needed. Being able to expose Yakima and its surrounding communities to such a phenomenal brand that offers a quality stay at a reasonable price leaves us with such warm feelings that will last over the location’s many years to come.”

Terry Kline, My Place Hotels EVP of franchise sales and development said: “We are extremely excited to congratulate our partners at Thind PMR Enterprises on opening their first My Place Hotel. As our brand continues to proliferate in the Pacific Northwest region and make our mark on Washington state, we can only be grateful for our franchise partners who have made it possible for us to tap into such a great community, while also upholding the very pillars of our brand as the trailblazers of our westward expansion.”
