US: Developer Hotel Evolution has held a groundbreaking ceremony for a Home2 Suites by Hilton near the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.
It will be the third hotel Neel Shah, president of Hotel Evolution, and his family have built in the area near the world’s busiest airport.
The 99-suite extended-stay hotel, is being built next to the Shah family’s Hampton Inn & Suites. The family has owned and operated the 104-room Hampton on Hartsfield-Jackson’s north side since 1999. Nearby is a Hilton Garden Inn they sold in 2014.
The Home2 Suites hotel is seven storeys high, six above ground with a daylight basement. Shah said he expects it to open in August 2019. Hotel Evolution will also manage the Home2 Suites.
