UK: Developer Caledon Properties Ltd has been granted planning permission for a 157-bed aparthotel, public house and retail units in the city’s Trongate area.
The project will see the demolition of a former RBS property and ground floor shops on Argyle Street as well as the Oriental Bar on Hutcheson Street.
The proposals were submitted to Glasgow City Council back in November of last year.
The 12-storey aparthotel will have its reception on the seventh floor, with retail units occupying the ground level.
The development is set to provide more than 100 full-time jobs.
