UK: Belfast-based operator Dream Apartments has announced further investment in the city of Newcastle.

The company currently has two locations on Tyneside, employing 19 people at its Quayside and Newcastle City centre apartments, and is looking to expand.

Mark Docherty, commercial director, said: “This investment and expansion of our portfolio not only demonstrates our ambition to grow in the UK, but also our commitment to the city of Newcastle. Choosing to expand in the Newcastle area was an easy decision – a big part of our local success is testament to the talented people we already have working here, and the strong reputation the team has for delivering great customer experience.”

“We always seek to choose buildings with a prestigious location and which is  impactful, and that set out a clear statement of our UK ambition. With our newest property opening in one of the most sought after parts of the city, we believe we have achieved this,” he added.

Tom Smyth, managing director at Dream Apartments, said: “This is a real coup for the city and all our Newcastle staff who have worked tirelessly to make Dream Apartments Newcastle an ideal destination for both business and leisure. The city’s historical lineage, inspiring architecture, energetic nightlife, fantastic shopping and award-winning gastronomic delights have contributed to Newcastle upon Tyne being named one of the best cities in the UK.”

Dream Apartments is now actively recruiting for a number of roles across its operational and support function.
