The first Serviced Apartment Summit Americas will take place in New York City in April 2016, and will feature a full conference agenda with a top quality cast of industry expert speakers covering serviced apartments, extended stay hotels, branded residences, aparthotels and corporate housing.

Cheval Residences is a London-based owner and operator of luxury long- and short-term serviced accommodation across eight locations in the UK capital.

Mohammed Al Marzooqi, managing director of Cheval Residences said: “The launch of Serviced Apartment Summit in the MEA and Americas markets is very timely for us as we look to expand our business overseas. We are actively looking for operation and management opportunities in the Middle East, US and beyond, and we look forward to supporting successful events where we can introduce and promote our brand to potential partners.”

George Westwell, director of Cheval Residences said: “In the last 18 months, Cheval Residences have designed, developed and delivered two award winning residences comprising in excess of 200 apartments, in key locations within London, which Cheval Residences now manage and operate, providing full support services from our central office. The Serviced Apartment Summit provides us with a platform to promote Cheval Residences as an experienced and established serviced apartment operator, with over 30 years of experience within the sector, and is now seeking to use its expertise to operate third party assets in key locations around the globe”.

Piers Brown, CEO of International Hospitality Media, said: “As we export our event from its successful London origins to new territories, it seems fitting that a leading London serviced apartment owner/operator that is also looking to grow internationally is our latest sponsor. We are delighted to welcome Cheval Residences, and wish them every success in their overseas expansion.”

The Serviced Apartment Summit brand was launched with a London event in 2013, and has grown rapidly each year. In 2015 the London conference attracted 300 delegates from more than 20 countries.
