UK: Birchover Residences has continued its expansion in the East Midlands with the opening of two properties in Nottingham within weeks of each other.

Birchover, which has been operating for 22 years from its Derbyshire headquarters, has a number of properties in Derby. It first opened apartments in Nottingham in June 2013. In May 2017 Birchover opened its flagship Bridgford Hall aparthotel.

In May this year, it added a waterfront three-bedroom house at Quayside Close on the River Trent, opposite the City Ground, closely followed in June by the opening of Juniper Court. Situated adjacent to Park Gates and The Park, the most sought-after residential address in Nottingham.

Owner Carl Bridge said: “We have long ago reached the stage where Bridgford Hall is operating at full capacity, primarily due to the fact that our average guest rating from nearly 600 reviews is 96 per cent. It took a long time, but we then secured deals on these two properties within a few short weeks of each other. I’m personally very excited about the waterfront house because that’s exactly where I wanted to live when I moved to Nottingham 18 years ago. And Juniper Court is already proving to be very popular – we barely have a night available across the whole building in the first three months, such is the demand”.

Juniper Court and Quayside Close follow the opening of One The Brayford – Birchover’s Lincoln apartment-hotel which opened in April.

Bridge continued: “It has been a very encouraging few months for us. We had reached capacity in Derby and West Bridgford so were working hard to identify the right places to expand into. It’s certainly paid off – we expect to double the number of apartments in Lincoln in the coming months because of the groundswell of demand there. It is entirely possible that we will end 2019 at close to treble the size we started the year and we have the appetite to continue growing further.”</p
