B-aparthotels to launch two Netherlands properties in 2016

Netherlands: Brussels-based operator B-aparthotels will add developments in The Hague and Amsterdam to its portfolio in 2016.

B-aparthotel Kennedy will feature 60 units, comprising one- and two-bedroom apartments and connecting studios. Situated between the city and the coast, at Stadhoudersplantsoen in The Hague, B-aparthotel Kennedy is close to Scheveningen beach resort and The Hague city centre, and is 45 minutes from Amsterdam Schiphol airport and Rotterdam The Hague airport.

Services on offer will include satellite TV, fitness room, PS4, bike hire, free wifi, air conditioning, fully-equipped kitchen, parking, daily cleaning (7/7), washing and drying room, luggage room with lockers, and a breakfast area. It will open in Q1 2016.

In Q4 2016, an Amsterdam property will open as part of the VEN Amsterdam mixed-use project. VEN Amsterdam will contain, bar, restaurants, casino and more to be confirmed. The B-aparthotels property will include 57 studios and one-bedroom apartments – the studios will connect to an apartment to give the option of two-bedroom apartment.

Steven Verrept, COO of B-aparthotels said: “After establishing a solid base in Brussels with five aparthotels on key locations in the city, we are ready for expansion. Our first aparthotel in The Netherlands, B-aparthotel Kennedy in The Hague will open at the end of Q1/2016. In Q4/2016 B-aparthotel Amsterdam will open its doors. With these two aparthotels 119 apartments will be added to our portfolio. We are aiming to open in the coming two years another four aparthotels in the Benelux countries.  We believe that with this local Benelux growth strategy in the short term, we can achieve a fast growth through the whole of Europe in the long term.”

Created in 2006, B-aparthotels operates more than 200 units across five properties in its home city of Brussels. In 2015, the company went through a full rebranding, including a new logo and website.
