US: AKA Rittenhouse Square has reopened its doors to unveil new leisure, entertainment, business and wellness amenities, as well as upgrades to the hotel residences.

The Philadelphia property’s new amenities include a private library curated by architect Stephan Potts, equipped with more than 1,000 architecture and design books; a seven-seat cinema, which will feature curated programming including award-winning films, weekly screenings of critically-acclaimed shows and more; and a 15-seat private conference room geared towards business travellers.

The property will also offer on-demand beauty and wellness services in guests’ apartments and a fitness centre furnished with Technogym equipment, as well as full access to the fitness facilities and lap pool at The Sporting Club at the Bellevue.

“We designed AKA Rittenhouse Square’s new amenities with tranquility and leisure in mind,” said AKA president Larry Korman. “Offerings like the library and on-demand wellness services will truly make the property an escape from the outside world where guests are encouraged to relax, unwind, and feel a sense of calm.”
