Thailand: Absolute Hotel Services (AHS) has launched its Eastin Estates brand to target extended stay senior guests.

Eastin Estates, which is a part of the assisted living segment, will focus on creating a luxury extended stay experience and community for seniors in Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. The new brand will target active seniors who are looking for home care assistance, a healthy lifestyle, and the ability to socialise with other like-minded guests. Daily activities and facilities will focus on keeping seniors active. AHS believes that they are the first hospitality management group to focus on this guest segment in Asia.

Vice president of business development for AHS, Karan Kaul, said: “Eastin Estates will grow via management agreements and is an ideal concept for conversions of existing hotels and residential projects in urban and resort settings. We are launching this product in response to the evolving demographics of the region.”

Options for guests will range from studio apartments (40 to 50 square metres) to two-bedroom units (80 to 100 square metres). Each unit will include a kitchenette, a balcony or terrace, and a bathroom. Guests are allowed to bring their pets, and a la carte pet grooming and meal services are also available to guests.

AHS says it is focused on creating safe and sustainable environments for their customers through Eastin Estates. All public areas will be wheelchair-accessible, and a health centre with emergency and nursing services will be available on-site at all times.

Other features include an outdoor garden, landscaped gathering areas, a restaurant with healthy meal options, a lounge, a library, a pool, a meeting room, a minimart, laundry services, and entertainment. There are also several amenities focused on active lifestyle, such as a yoga area and a fitness centre, which includes steam rooms and saunas.

Jonathan Wigley, CEO of AHS, said: “We are very excited to announce the launch of our new brand, Eastin Estates, and are confident that the brand will provide residents with a unique, luxury service of great value under the strong backing and core values of the Eastin brand. We are looking forward to expanding the Eastin Estates brand in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.”
