India: Ascott has appointed Ashwin Vijaysekar as general manager of Citadines OMR Chennai.
Vijaysekar will be responsible for managing the operations of the 269-unit property, which opened three weeks ago.
“We are happy to have Ashwin join us as general manager of Citadines OMR. He brings a wealth of experience in luxury hospitality industry and definitely is a great addition to Citadines team,” said Ascott’s area general manager for India, Ajit Koushik.
Prior taking up the new role, Vijaysekar was GM at the Kohinoor Asiana Hotel. He has also worked at Radisson Hotels, Taj Hotels, and Accord Hotels.</p
