Oaks strengthens sales, marketing and digital teams

Australia: Oaks Hotels & Resorts, a division of Minor Hotel Group, has announced five appointments across its sales, marketing and digital divisions.

The company has appointed Luke Deayton as area director of sales - regional Queensland; Terri Hewerdine as marketing and partnerships manager; James Bealey as digital marketing manager, Joel Whitbread as marketing systems and insights manager; and Glenn Francis as senior marketing systems and data specialist.

Based at Oaks Hotels & Resorts' Brisbane office, Deayton brings more than 10 years of business development and sales experience to his role, and joins after serving as business development manager - commercial at Greyhound Australia. 

Hewerdine joins after leaving her three-year post at Stockland as marketing manager where she successfully developed and led local and national marketing strategies for the company's retail portfolio.

Bealey has a strong agency background, most recently as digital marketing manager at Martin and Martin Advertising (MaMA) while Whitbread will take up the newly created role of marketing systems and insights manager. Francis will support Whitbread in his role of senior marketing systems and data specialist.
