UK: Wyndham Vacation Rentals has made an investment in Unique Ventures (trading as Veeve).

Through the partnership, Wyndham Vacation Rentals UK will support and strengthen the planned expansion of Veeve’s portfolio, both in London and internationally.

“We are delighted to be working with Veeve to bring their beautiful properties across London to a wider audience and grow the serviced rental options we can offer travellers in other major urban destinations,” said Geoff Cowley, managing director, Wyndham Vacation Rentals UK. “Veeve’s mission to make home rentals as effortless as possible complements our Peer-to-Peer Plus approach, which goes beyond simply connecting travellers to hosts to provide both with a range of services to simplify the process.”

Founded in 2011, Veeve offers upscale London rentals for short stays, and has a managed portfolio of more than 1,000 homes across the city. Veeve offers “a complete turnkey service for owners to conveniently earn money when they’re not using their home and handles everything from marketing, reservations, property management and housekeeping while ensuring the utmost care of the property”.

For guests, it provides check in assistance, linens and toiletries and general guest support as well grocery deliveries, concierge assistance and maid service.

“Wyndham was an early mover in holiday rentals and has terrific scale and experience,” added Jonny Morris, CEO and co-founder of Veeve. “I look forward to working with them and our existing investors Smedvig Capital, on our plans to attract more owners to Veeve, generate more bookings and accelerate our international expansion. There is huge potential in cities around the globe. We will be adding great people to our team in every new city to ensure we maintain owner and customer satisfaction at the highest level.”

The size of the investment has not been disclosed.
