UK: London serviced apartment provider Clarendon has appointed Zobert Asloune as business development manager.
Asloune has an extensive background in the hospitality and
business travel industry working for companies including The Ascott
Group, GLH Hotels and most recently Go Native, where he was head of
Claire Barrie, director of sales at Clarendon Serviced Apartments, said: "Clarendon is entering the next period of evolution and perhaps the most exciting chapter yet. We continue to strengthen the team and Zobert brings with him strong sector knowledge and proven experience in successfully growing corporate business relationships. Clarendon has also announced a partnership with YourWelcome to provide guests with in-room touchscreen technology.
YourWelcome is app-based and delivered through a smart tablet enabling providers to offer guests an easy point of reference and instant access to essential information and additional services during their stay.
Available to guests from the moment of arrival and accessed through a simple registration, the tablet offers guests access to third party on-demand services such as restaurants, food delivery, bars, shopping, discounted tourist and theatre tickets, dry cleaning and much more. In addition the tablet will display essential apartment information including step by step video guides on how to operate apartment appliances.

The devices are being rolled out across Clarendon apartments in December with future developments and services planned to be made available in 2017.
