UK: City Stay Apartments has announced plans for Platinum House, an aparthotel in Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire.

The company says Platinum House will be the first apartment hotel to open in the city. It will consist of 32 studio and 26 one-bedroom apartments, all with fully equipped kitchens, built-in appliances, wi-fi, Freeview tv and a weekly maid service.

Mark Phillips, managing director of City Stay Apartments, said: "At City Stay, we are very excited to announce that we will be opening the first aparthotel in Milton Keynes in 2017. The new complex is called Platinum House and consists of 58 newly refurbished studio and one-bed apartments, which are located in the centre of Milton Keynes."

"We have seen a considerable growth in the corporate accommodation sector during the past few years with our business clients occupying 85% of our apartments. Milton Keynes continues to attract investors who can see the benefit of a central location and excellent transport links. The annual index of economic performance puts Milton Keynes as the top city in the country for jobs growth. In addition to this, over £1 billion of private investment has been committed in the last decade which has in turn, transformed the city's skyline with new architecture and helped to develop necessary infrastructure. With Platinum House situated only meters away from the Milton Keynes Central station, Santander and Network Rail headquarters, we look forward to providing the first ASAP accredited apart-hotel to our business and leisure partners," he added.
