UK: SACO’s first Locke branded aparthotel has opened in London.

Located in Aldgate on the eastern edge of the Square Mile, SACO says Leman Locke "blends the world of lifestyle hotels and serviced apartments, and appeals to travellers who want to experience the unique and authentic wherever they are no, matter the length of their stay".

The 168 apartments, including 105 studios and 63 one-bedroom suites are all at least 29 square metres in size.

On the ground and first floors, Treves & Hyde by Hyde Restaurants is open all day, serving breakfast through to late night cocktails. Downstairs opens with a reduced offer on launch, followed by the main bar and restaurant opening later this year.

There are also two meeting rooms on the 21st and 22nd floors with views overlooking Shoreditch and a 24-hour gym.

Opening rates start at £120 per night for short stays. Long stay prices available on request.
