UK: Cheval Residences has announced it will offer all guests a free smart phone for use during their stay.
The smartphones will be available across all eight of Cheval Residences' London properties from
October 2016 onwards and will be available to all guests staying
from just one night.
Guests will be presented with their phone - made by manufacturer handy - on arrival. They will be able to use the phone to make free UK calls, as well as international calls to 11 countries including the USA, UAE and Hong Kong, throughout their stay. The phone also offers unlimited and free 3G and 4G connectivity, as well as access to a London city guide and Google Maps. The phones will be preloaded with information on their chosen residence with shortcuts to both the concierge and housekeeping departments.
George Westwell, director of Cheval Residences, said: "Our guests' comfort and enjoyment is always of the utmost importance to us and this includes helping them avoid costly roaming and call charges whilst staying in London. We are confident that the handy phone will further add to the home-away-from-home experience that all of our residences offer."
Stuart Winstone, commercial director of serviced apartment agent SilverDoor said: "With corporate clients looking for more ways to save costs whilst still having access to the latest in technology, we can see how the 'handy' phone will be a 'must have' accessory for business travellers in 2017."
