Ramsay takes Oakwood VP role in Asia Pacific region

Singapore: Oakwood Worldwide has appointed Tabatha Ramsay as vice president of sales, marketing and revenue management.

Operating from Oakwood's Singapore office, Ramsay will oversee the strategic direction for Oakwood in the Asia Pacific region.

Supporting a portfolio of 26 Oakwood-branded buildings across the region, she will be responsible for setting strategic priorities and driving the sales, marketing and revenue management functions with a focus on increasing brand strength, yielding profitable sales and increasing market share. Ramsay will report to Craig Ryan, managing director for Oakwood Worldwide's Asia Pacific region.

Jill Chapman, senior vice president of global sales and marketing for Oakwood Worldwide, said: "With the addition of Tabatha, we have realigned the region to ensure even greater synergy among our functional teams and optimize our ability to deliver our customers seamless access to our various housing options."

Ramsay brings with her more than 16 years of hospitality experience within the Asia Pacific region. She served in various global sales and marketing leadership positions with InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Minor Hotel Group. Most recently, she served as international director of the South Australian Tourism Commission.
