The poll found that the profession the British public trusts least to tell the truth are politicians (21% of those polled trust them), followed by the likes of estate agents (25%), journalists (25%), business leaders (33%), bankers (37%), and builders (42%).

The most trusted are doctors, teachers, judges, scientists and, interestingly, hairdressers.

As a journalist addressing business leaders, these stats are quite alarming for both of us, but here at Serviced Apartment News, we believe trust and reputation management is becoming increasingly important in doing business these days.

That’s why the value of trust was a key topic explored by Nam Quach from EY, together with industry leaders at the Serviced Apartment Summit Europe recently. See GuestRevu’s take on the session and short video clip here

At Serviced Apartment News, we are editorially independent. Our content is chosen for its relevance to our audience, rather than being dictated by advertisers, sponsors, or industry associations. We are totally committed to promoting and growing the industry, and we hope our readers recognise this and trust us.
